The bummer is that I thought I would be smart and save money by buying this for his bedroom door, attaching it to the outside so that I can lock it during his naps and sleeping at night. Unfortunately, it did not fit our door handle and did some significant door damage in the process of removal. There goes our deposit on the apartment. Not to mention that I now have a brand new lock that doesn't work and I still need a baby gate. Good times.

I need a baby gate

It's always such a bummer when you come up with a solution and then it doesn't work! I always feel ripped off! Sorry to hear about the damage to the door.
