Oh beloved Thursdays...
That is usually how my journal starts as I sip my caramel latte and eat my yummy sandwich at panera bread. A couple hours away to talk with God and volunteer for Revolution. All thanks to Katie Palmer. I can not describe what a great feeling it is to get out and not worry about who is with Caleb. She is the best! This post will not do the justice she deserves but I want all to know how amazing she is and what a savior she is for me. One thing I will always remember is at Christmas time we (Rachael and I) gave Katie a joint gift. We got her a $50 gift card to Starbucks and a picture frame of Caleb and Hallie, you should have seen how excited she was about the frame! That will always speak volumes to me about the care and invest she has in us. Thanks Katie, we love you!

Verbage
Lately Caleb has been picking up about a word a week. Rachel has the video of the week, Kimmie is going to have the "word" of the week. This week's word is "yeah". I guess that is my fault. I need to start saying "yes". So far, other vocab words are as follows:
1. up
2. off
3. clock
4. yeah
5. hi
6. read
7. two/three
8. banana
9. tickle
10. beep
11. dada/mama

Girl Scout Cookies
Thanks to the Bambrick's we have girl scout cookies in the house. Jared really, really likes the lemon desserts...apparently so does Caleb.I opened the frig long enough to grab his milk, he squeezed inside and quickly retained the box. Before I could put the milk back in he already had it open.
And just like his Dad he wouldn't share either.

On second thought...
I think next time we will have a professional cut his hair.
How about those of you who have kids? Do you cut it yourselves or take them to a professional?

Toddler's first hair cut
Not a whole lot of hoopla with Caleb first hair cut. Jared and I argued over which pair of scissors to use and once Caleb figured out what was going on he did everything he could to prevent us from being successful.Overall Jared did a good job. We will need to work on the back a little bit more but we saved some money by doing it here!
