Just lately Caleb has started to groove now and again. At Denny's this morning he decided to groove to the following artists:

Family Visit

Last weekend we had a visit from Jared's family. We had a really good time. Becki and I had a good time watching some girlie movies together while Jared and his Dad went golfing. Grandma happily stayed home and watched Caleb. It is always such a relief for us to be around others who adore Caleb. Unfortunately this may be the last time in a long time that Caleb gets to see his aunt as she is moving on to Washington DC!

"PE"

stands for "poop everywhere". There have been many times when I have said these two words very dramatically to someone while telling of a recent story that ends up in several loads of laundry. This time however, it could have been prevented. We have a nighttime routine to get Caleb to bed. During this routine we take his clothes off just before we put him in a bath. Those of you who have visited know we have carpet in our bathrooms. Normally his diaper is just wet so I take it off without a care. Tonight, however I enthusiastically "wooshed" his dirty diaper off and "PE".

As many of you know I started a business at the end of last year. I decided to name the business "Innovative Creative Expressions". ICE for short. Unfortunately since there is no way to find a domain name that matches anything with ICE and the long name is well, too long; I am kinda stuck!

Super Bowl

WOW - We sure didn't expect that one, but it was a great game. We went to our uncle and aunt's house in San Dimas.Caleb was all decked out and ready for the event nevertheless. He enjoyed his pigs and blankets and big screen to watch the game. Thanks Bill and Debbie!

"Macho macho man..."

There are several tunes that come to my head when I see this picture. "Macho man" is one of them. "I am too sexy" is another. Anyway, here is Caleb's lovely belly, in all it's glory.

Tis the season...

for illness. I have had a whirlwind of cold viruses and such on and off since Christmas. Unfortunately the last couple of days got worse with the addition of ear "seizures" as I called them. When Jared got home from work yesterday and noted such seizures he suggested I visit the urgent care and lo and behold I finally got my much needed antibiotic. Such things are increasingly difficult to obtain these days so I am very thankful. Funny thing is that Caleb is so used to me blowing my nose that he now grabs tissue, puts it to his nose for a couple seconds and then proceeds to the trash can to throw it away!

Caleb walks!

Although his first steps were technically in Fresno during Christmas he really took off around the new year. A new year and a new skill I guess! At first he could only walk when he had already pulled up on something. It took him a couple of days to learn to stand up on his own which surprised me, I thought it was going to take a while. The process from crawling to walking was so quick once he started taking his first steps. It still amazes me when he comes around the kitchen corner walking instead of crawling.
